At Mectalent, our work is framed by certified quality systems ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. A fundamental part of adhering to these quality systems is the continuous improvement of our operations. We regularly implement measures related to this, the most recent being the implementation of a business continuity management system.
A business continuity management system is developed and maintained to enhance the company's readiness to handle various disruptions or operational interruptions continuously.
During the spring, we also conducted internal audits and improved the operations of our various functions based on the results obtained from these audits.
Over the summer, we are enhancing our welding services and making an investment to increase the capacity for orbital welding. You can read in our blog how orbital welding is used in the manufacture of precision parts.
Another area of development in our production facilities is the precision measurement area, which will be expanded to provide more space. With this expansion, we will improve the efficiency of the measurement process by introducing more automation to assist with measurements.

Our parent company, Cor Group, organized the "100 Days – €100,000" sports campaign, aimed at raising as much money as possible for Hope ry to support sports activities for children and young people. Hope is a non-profit organization in Finland that supports low-income and crisis-affected families by providing material assistance and support for hobbies.
Employees of all Cor Group subsidiaries contributed to the donation amount by engaging in physical activities and improving their endurance fitness. Mectalent employees participated in the challenge along with about 900 other Cor Group employees, and together we managed to raise over €60,000 to support children's and youth sports activities.
The summer holiday season has begun, and Mectalent's production has prepared for it by hiring enthusiastic and skilled summer workers. Many of them have worked with us before, but each one is thoroughly oriented to their tasks. Our standardized orientation process includes, among other things, quality training in addition to work safety.
Our product development services will also operate normally throughout the summer, as we have taken staff holidays into account in project scheduling.
